This is a sketch of my replica pirate pistol, which I bought during my Pirates Of The Caribbean craze. I worked for a couple of hours on this one, and I'm really happy with the amount of detail on it.
Please FullView it! It's so much better than the tiny thumbnail.
I don't know if this is correct or not, but the muzzle seems to bend down a little - or rather, the *top* of the barrel curves a little. That said - I'm no better than absolute average, so I can't really preach: I can only say what occurs to me as an uninformed bystander.
Other than that minor thing: good looking drawing, nice work! I certainly couldn't manage anything like that.
Yes, the muzzle does bend down, and no, it's's not meant to do that. Also, my pistol is a little longer than that.
And you probably could manage a drawing like this, all you need is patience and decent pencils.

Thank you so much, that means a lot to me. I do love flintlock pistols. Such works of art.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

I have drunk from only a few meaningless fonts of knowledge as the queues for all the meaningful fonts were very long.
